After studying at the Birmingham College of Food, Ben gained his first job at the Manor Hotel, Meriden when he was 18, and with the encouragement of the Head Chef, Peter Griffiths, he began entering competitions for his cooking which culminated in my winning British Young Chef of the Year for 2 years running.
Since then Ben has developed even further, producing cakes for both celebrity and royal clients. He has also had the privilege of working in some of the world’s greatest kitchens. His work has taken him across both Europe ( Paris, Monaco, Lyon) and the Middle East (Oman, Muscat).
Ben believes that great work speaks for itself. For example, his cakes have been variously described as ‘works of art’, ‘exciting’ and ‘unique’. He hopes there is something on this site to inspire and delight you and at a price that you will be pleasantly surprised with.
